GIMP เป็นโปรแกรมแต่ง าพ Digital เหมือน Photoshop ซึ่งเป็น Freeware เล็กว่า Photoshop ทำให้ Load เร็ว และทำงานเร็วกว่า และมีความสามารถพอเพียงสำหรับการแต่ง าพทั่วๆไป และการทำเว็บ ผมคิดว่าผมไม่จำเป็นต้องเสียเงินสำหรับ Photoshop ซึ่งมีความสามารถที่ผมไม่ได้ใช้งาน
หลายๆคนอาจจะใช้ Photoshop ได้ฟรี จึงอาจไม่เห็นความจำเป็นต้องใช้ Freeware แต่หากผมมีทางเลือกที่จะอยู่ได้โดยไม่ต้องละเมิด หรือลักทรัพทย์ผมเลือกที่จะอยู่อย่างมีศักดิ์ศรีดีกว่า
